You may think that nobody buys or sells a home in the winter. However, a good percentage of home purchases happen during the coldest months of the year!

Did you know the internet has no seasons? All jokes aside, most buyers go online to search for homes, no matter what the temperature may be outside. This allows buyers instant access to property listings all year round. Serious buyers are always on the hunt, especially in a market with limited inventory available.

While spring is typically the hottest home-buying season, that’s when other sellers will flood the market and your home may be lost amongst the other inventory. Now is a great time to list because you’ll have less competition on the market. On the flip side, buyers also have fewer homes to choose from, which means your home could sell much faster than if you waited to list in the spring.

If you are curious about selling this winter, contact our office today. We can make recommendations for small changes or updates you can make to your home prior to list that will help your house stand out amongst the others.
